The night of the discussion includes sharing recipes and dishes that have been talked about in the books. This type of activity adds to the entertainment of the book club and also makes learning different cooking techniques fun.

There is no rule saying that you have to strictly follow any book club lists in order to enjoy reading and discussing what you have read with others.  The book club lists are available to help clubs, but they do not have to dictate what you read.  The main purpose of getting together is to enjoy friends and to learn through reading together.
